Fees & Reimbursement
Therapeutic excellence through conscious quality, pricing transparency, and individual care.
Therapeutic Quality & Individualized Care
As a private practice, we focus on a treatment structure that is entirely tailored to your child's individual needs. Under § 611 BGB, we contract our services on the basis of a transparent fee agreement. For you, this means: a full 45 minutes of undivided attention, a quiet and low-stimulus environment, minimal patient density, and customized clinical reporting.
Full 45 Minutes of Therapy
We dedicate our full attention to your child's treatment. Each session consists of a full 45 minutes of pure, undivided therapy time – free from rush or interruptions.
Quiet Practice Environment
Our practice offers a quiet, distraction-free environment in Usingen, allowing your child to fully focus on their strengths and exercises.
Detailed Clinical Reporting
We closely monitor your child's progress and compile detailed, customized clinical reports for doctors and families.
Minimal Patient Density
Thanks to careful and reliable scheduling, there are no waiting times. The practice remains a calm and stress-free environment.
For reference: A standard occupational therapy session (sensorimotor-perceptive individual treatment, 45 minutes) is billed at a 1.8x GebüTh rate, currently (as of 2026) 125.56 EUR for new contracts.
Billing is based on a written fee agreement prior to treatment.
* Valid for new contracts signed from January 1, 2026. For ongoing treatments, the individually agreed fee remains in effect.
Reimbursement
Here you will find all the important details regarding billing and reimbursement by private health insurance and state aid (Beihilfe).
Medical Prescription
Occupational therapy is usually based on a doctor's prescription. However, since I also hold the state license as a Sektoraler Heilpraktiker for Occupational Therapy in Hesse, I am fully authorized to provide treatments directly without a doctor's prescription as a private-pay service if desired.
Reimbursement by Private Insurance
Private health insurance companies generally cover the costs of occupational therapy treatments, provided they are included in your insurance policy. You determine the exact amount of coverage at the start of your insurance policy.
State Medical Aid & Supplementary Tariffs
Patients eligible for state medical aid (Beihilfe) receive reimbursement according to the applicable regulations. This may result in partial reimbursement. Any remaining difference must be covered by you, unless you have supplementary insurance.
Fee Agreement
Before therapy begins, a treatment contract (fee agreement) is concluded between the therapy practice and the private patient. In this contract, I commit to providing my defined therapeutic services, and the patient agrees to pay me the agreed price for the services rendered, regardless of reimbursement from private health insurance.
Reimbursement Issues? Your Rights in Case of Reductions
If your private insurance attempts to reduce reimbursement values without justification, we recommend filing a written objection. For unresolved disputes, you can contact an independent mediator (Ombudsmann) free of charge.
